All training data generated by your use of the App is stored locally on your device and remains under your complete control.

Information Storage and Use

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following information locally on your device using secure Android database technologies (Room and DataStore):

1. Training Data

• Breathing Tables: Custom CO2 tolerance tables, O2 adaptation tables, and user-defined training routines.
• Session History: Records of your training sessions including timestamps, duration, and personal notes.
• Performance Metrics: Contraction timestamps and maximum breath-hold achievements.
• Heart Rate Data: Heart rate measurements collected from connected Bluetooth devices during training.

2. App Preferences

• Settings: Visual themes, audio/haptic preferences, and training configuration options.
• Onboarding Status: Whether you have completed the initial app introduction.

3. Purchase Information

• License Status: We store a local record of your "Pro" or "Lifetime" license status to unlock features. The actual transaction data is handled securely by Google Play.

Permissions Requested

The App requests specific permissions to function correctly. These permissions are never used to collect data for advertising or tracking.

Bluetooth & Location

• Purpose: To connect to compatible Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) heart rate monitors.
• Permissions: BLUETOOTH, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT, BLUETOOTH_SCAN.
• Location Note: On Android 10 and below, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION is required by the OS to scan for Bluetooth devices. We do not use this to track your physical location.

Foreground Service & Notifications

• Purpose: To keep the training timer and audio cues running reliably when the screen is off or the app is in the background.
• Permissions: FOREGROUND_SERVICE, POST_NOTIFICATIONS.

Billing

• Purpose: To process the one-time purchase for the full version of the app via Google Play.
• Permissions: com.android.vending.BILLING.

Third-Party Services

We strictly limit the use of third-party services to essential functions only.

Google Play Services

• Billing: We use Google Play Billing to process payments. Google manages your payment information securely; we do not have access to your credit card details.

What We DO NOT Use

• No Analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any other user tracking services.
• No Ads: The app contains no advertisement networks or tracking SDKs.
• No Cloud Storage: We do not upload your training data to any cloud servers.

Data Retention and Deletion

• User Control: You have complete control over all data stored by the App.
• Manual Deletion: You can delete individual sessions or tables at any time.
• Uninstallation: Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored data from your device (unless you have enabled Android's system-level backup).

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. As a utility tool with no social features or cloud storage, it is safe for general use, but we do not target children under 13.
